The spectator will defront with 20 figures exposed in 20 paintings in the present exhibition of Regina da costa Val.

They are not exactly 20figures, but 20 personages that the artist caught in moments of great dramaticity. If, at first sight, they may cause a slight discomfort by their presence, they soon will look quite familiar, and the initial impression is replace by sympathy and complicity, due to the excellence of the artist who, with her power of expression, is capable of making what is ugly look beautiful.
